Isabel Marant may not approve, but the sneaker wedge fad shows no signs of slowing down. Sports brand Adidas is the latest company to give into fashion’s latest obsession with their own collection of platform kicks. Set for a July debut, Adidas promises to give other brands like Puma, Reebok and Nike a run for their money with a preview of the “Amberlight heel.”
Red, white and blue-themed, the wedge features a velcro strap, perforated ankle and vulcanized rubber outsole just in time for fourth of July celebrations (above).
Affordably priced and comfortable to wear, these are likely to fly off shelves next month.
