Over 30 high school students from the San Diego have been suspended and banned from prom or commencement because of a twerking video, according to NBC.
The video was created by students in a media class at Scripps Ranch High School and shows teenage girls propped up on walls and doing handstands while twerking. The students used school property to videotape the group outside of the classroom during 6th period.
Apparently the girls did not know the video would be posted on YouTube and are trying to appeal the suspension to be able to walk in their graduation an go to prom.
