Solange is well-versed in being an independent woman.
The mixed print-loving songbird has announced upstart record company Saint Records, a label distributed by Sony.
“Big news day for me! Wasn’t ready to announce, but since false info is spreading I will gladly do so:) Supppppperr EXCITED!” the svelte chanteuse sent through the Twitter waves before gushing about her new venture. “Super stoked to announce I’ve started my own label,SAINT RECORDS,where I’ll be releasing my music & other projects distributed through SONY!”
Sol-Angel’s third studio LP will be housed under Saint, as well as other music projects she’s whipping up but not quite ready to share. She has “100% creative/artistic control.”
Until then, Solange, who recently performed at Sweetlife Music Festival, continues to rock indie (hipster) crowds with gems from her latest True EP.
