Jason Collins made history when he covered the May 6 issue of Sports Illustrated as the first openly gay athlete in a major men’s sport. The NBA player’s confession resulted in an outpouring of support and criticism from just about everyone, including former fiancée Carolyn Moos.
According to multiple reports, the WNBA player will detail her 8 year relationship with Jason in a tell all book with a to-be-determined release date.
She revealed plans about the book on her personal website:
“Carolyn will be writing a book as she reflects on her recent life events about her former fiancé. She welcomes submitted questions from the public about what they would like to hear more on given topics that were discuss at the surface level in the interviews. Send your questions to firstname.lastname@example.org and Carolyn will review all of them as she begins to write.”
Moos recently told TMZ that although the news was “emotional,” she still wants the best for Collins. ”I care about [Jason] tremendously and only want the best for him. I want Jason to be happy for a lifetime and stay true to who he really is, inside and out.”
