Like most successful writers, media mogul Tyler Perry finds himself in hot water once again. According to TMZ, screenwriter William James claims the “Madea” actor used his 2009 screenplay titled “Lovers Kill” as the blueprint for Temptation: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor. Reports claim that James gave his script Oprah Winfrey’s friend with hopes that she would pass it onto Perry.
Representatives from Tyler Perry Studios have yet to comment. Temptation hit theaters on March 29 and made $49 million.
