We can’t stop replaying Beyoncé’s latest Pepsi commercial. In case you live under a rock, the epic “Mirrors” clip transports us through the first 10 years of King Bey’s musical reign with visual reminders. From “Crazy in Love” to “Bootylicious” to “Single Ladies,” we’re reminded that she’s not just an entertainer, but an icon as well.
“There isn’t an artist more in the now than Beyoncé,” says Brad Jakeman, president of Global Beverage Group PepsiCo. “She is one of the world’s truly iconic artists.”
With her upcoming single “Grown Woman” as background music, stylist Ty Hunter gives us small peak into some of King Bey’s iconic music video ensembles. Also on hand is frequent collaborator Frank Gaston, the choreographer responsible for the commercial and some of B’s signature moves.
“It felt so emotional when I was trying on all the costumes from my past, and I was surrounded by so much of my history, especially on the 10th anniversary of ‘Crazy In Love,’” says Beyonce in the behind the scenes vid.
