Jennifer Williams Talks Love and Rebound Romance in Open Letter

Before you love someone else you have to love yourself. That’s what Jennifer Williams is preaching in her newest blog post on Lucid.

The ex-Basketball Wives star has been through a lot since her emergence into the reality TV limelight. From divorcing her NBA baller husband Eric Williams to her bitter feud with Evelyn Lozada, Williams has learned her fair share of relationship do’s and don’ts. As spring begins, Williams her perspective on love.

In the open letter, she talks openly about looking for immediate love after her divorce because she wanted “someone to distract me from my real feelings.” However as most of us can relate, rebound romance most of the time is a “temporary fulfillment” as Jen pens it.

She touches on key factors to a healthy relationship, especially trust (“a huge component of making a relationship work”), communication (“a key to a thriving, loving, healthy relationship” and keeping the love honest and fresh.

According to the e-penned note, it seems like this cosmetics designer has learned a lot about herself from everything she’s been through.
