Carmelo Anthony for the Wall Street Journal

Carmelo Anthony is all smiles as he graces the April 2013 cover of the Wall Street Journal MVP Style Issue. The New York Knicks small forward was shot by famed photographer Terry Richardson wearing everything from Nike to Salvatore Ferragamo.

In the interview, the baller spoke about his transitioning style which continues to get more grown and sexy as he ages. “Athletes have become more in tune to the fashion world, a lot of athletes are just known for being athletes. You can come to a place like New York and diversify yourself.”

Melo even gave readers some juice about how his wife La La Anthony encourages him to do things off the court to expand his brand. “She doesn’t look at me as an athlete at all,” Anthony says. “She’s always been the person I can bring something to—that’s a no-brainer.”
