Keri Hilson is taking a different approach on her third album. 2010′s No Boys Allowed, known for tracks like “Pretty Girl Rock” and “One Night Stand,” saw Hilson adamantly preaching for a real man, but for its followup Hilson is going down a different route. “I’m going back to the emotional storyteller Keri Hilson,” she says. Hilson is still in the studio finishing up the untitled LP, wich got sidetracked by the taping of her second movie role alongside Vin Diesel, The Chronicles of Riddick: Dead Man Stalking ,out this summer.
Here, Hilson catches up with VIBE at the sunny Santa Monica Pier about all her projects.
