Beyoncé recently caused a news storm after she was reportedly lip-syncing the National Anthem at President Obama‘s inauguration ceremony this past Monday (Jan. 21). Critics and fans alike were all commenting about her impeccable performance yet questioning whether or not she actually sang it live. ‘The Star-Spangled Banner’ is usually sung at major sports events and other public gatherings, so there is a certain pressure for singers to do it justice.
