Quvenzhané Wallis is redefining what it means to be a “boss” at the tender age of nine. The pint-sized cutie is suited up with a smile for Entertainment Weekly‘s annual “Oscar Issue.”
Her heart-wrenching performance as Hushpuppy in Beasts of the Southern Wild has earned her a Best Actress nomination at this year’s ceremony. And, in a year already marked with historic moments (OBAMA!), Wallis is the youngest ever to receive this honor.
The young lady is not looking to slow down, either. She’s already in production for her next film, Twelve Years A Slave. We can’t help but enjoy Quvenzhane’s ascension into the Hollywood A-list!
