The divas and divos showed up and shut down the Shrine Auditorium stage for VH1 Divas last night (Dec. 16). Led by American Idol alum Adam Lambert, some of our favorite Vixens paid tribute to legendary female artists.
Lambert was joined by Kelly Rowland and Keri Hilson for a rousing disco tribute to the late Donna Summer, while Ciara cemented her comeback with a flawless dance tribute to Michael Jackson. Dressed in a white t-shirt and leather pants, she started her performance with a spot-on “Billie Jean” before ending with her newest dance track “Got Me Good.”
The biggest moment of the night had to be the joyful Whitney Houston tribute. Sparkle co-star Jordin Sparks started things off with “I’m Every Woman.” Canadian crooner Melanie Fiona belted out a mix of “I Wanna Dance With Somebody” and “It’s Not Right, But It’s Okay” before Ledisi brought it home with “How Will I Know.”
