It’s no secret that ombré  hair has been around for years, but in 2012, the dip-dye look became one of the hottest hair trends.

We love it as a transitioning style as well. Keke Palmer rocked blonde ombré tresses on the red carpet then appeared on The Wendy Williams Show with a fierce full-on blonde ‘do.

Since blonde hair isn’t the only color option for ombré hair, we think the style can stay new and exciting in the new year.
