VIBE Vixen sat down with model Erica Mena earlier this month to catch up with the Love & Hip Hop star post-season 2. She not only dished about lessons learned from the New York’s previous drama-filled season, but also about her budding relationship with Olivia’s music manager Rich Dollaz.
“I’ve never really had anyone fully in my corner,” she reveals. “Finally, I had someone to strip me from all the unnecessary things and that alone made me realize it was time to give something that was meaningful a chance. Regardless of what happens, we’re in this together.”
Without too many spoiler alerts, she dropped some gems about what viewers can expect from NYC upcoming season, too.
“I think every female on the show gives a different dynamic to the whole hip-hop thing,” she says. “It’s definitely nothing that you can compare to Atlanta, especially with the whole Joe Budden-Tahiry situation. It’s gonna be intriguing.”
The show premieres Jan. 7 at 8 p.m. ET on Vh1.
