Halle Berry shined last night at the premiere of Cloud Atlas at the Grauman Chinese Theater in Hollywood. Berry, alongside co-stars Tom Hanks, Susan Sarandon, Georgia King, and Doona Bae, walked the red carpet in a glittery, metallic number. Berry also brought her French beau, actor Olivier Martinez.
With the movie becoming one of the most expensive independent films ever made and being met with rave reviews, it has become a surefire contender for award season. The film tells the tale of how actions in the past impact the future of a group of special individuals.
“One of the themes of the movie is reincarnation, and we keep coming back, time after time, until our soul is formed into the highest good,” Berry tells Daily Mail. “We make individual choices as people and we can make choices that can effect what happens for generations to come.”–Desire Thompson
