Beyoncé is taking her talents to Super Bowl XLVII.
The “Love On Top” singer will join the list of past half-time performers such as Madonna, Janet Jackson, Diana Ross, Prince and Michael Jackson as she’ll light up the field on Feb. 3, 2013 in New Orleans, LA, the Associated Press reports.
The highly-watched sporting event will kick off at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. Though no specific details have been confirmed, it is rumored that a Destiny’s Child reunion may be included in her headlining set. The official announcement will be made Oct. 17.
The 16-time Grammy award winner is no stranger to the football field as she sang the USA National Anthem at Super Bowl XXXVIII in 2004. This time she will have more than three minutes to show a multitude of viewers why some call her Queen Bey.–Camille Augustin
