Black America has a clear divide when it comes to reality television. Half of us view it from an entertainment perspective and think that it shouldn’t be looked at as a reflection of all Black people. While the other 50 percent poke fun and believe that this type of “reality” should be abolished.
Tatyana Ali seems side with the latter. In a reality TV spoof, the former Fresh Prince of Bel Air star and recent Harvard graduate portrays a producer by the name of “Mona O’Neil” who encourages her reality TV employees, Breesha and Jameel, to be more “hood.”–Jazmine Henley-Brown
