Sky-high heels are nothing new, but recently towering 6.5″ or 7″ heels, replete with platforms, have been enjoying a moment in the spotlight. Once reserved for, ahem, ladies of the night, platforms with extremely high heels are popping up in high-end designer collections like Giuseppe Zanotti and Olcay Gulsen and have been spotted on luminaries like Tika Sumpter, Rocsi Diaz and Angela Simmons.
