In an interview with ABC’s “Good Morning America,” Smart revealed how the attraction began, admitting it wasn’t love at first sight. “It was just very natural, you know, natural how it happened,” he said. “There was nothing before, no flirting, no nothing.”
Smart, who is Lopez’ tour choreographer, said that their professional relationship has little affect on their personal one, though he keeps in mind that she calls the shots.
“Sometimes, I tell her something, you know, give her notes. But at the end of the day, you know, it doesn’t matter what position is what, because she’s the boss, you know?”
J. Lo also appeared on the morning news show recently with Enrique Iglesias to promote their upcoming world tour commented on her love life. “It can be difficult for anybody who has to stand by my side, but at the end of the day, I know that I deserve that,” she said.
When Iglesias chimed in and said it must be difficult to work with someone you love, the “If You Had My Love” singer said it depends on the person. “I have done it many times and it’s difficult with some people, and some people, it’s easy. Just depends on their personality.”
Regardless of her relationship resume, the 42-year-old performer/actress says she will never give up on love. “For me, the biggest dream is the fairy tale. I will never give up on that dream.”
