First Look: LeBron James Explains Proposal to Savannah

Miami Heat champion (yes, we can finally say that now) LeBron James will sit down with Oprah for her popular series Next Chapter (July 1) and explain the night he proposed to his high school sweetheart Savannah Brinson. The athletic superstar talks about his friend and teammate Dwyane Wade hanging on the ring until the big moment.

Throughout the episode, he’ll touch on the other ring he recently received as well.

Before Miami Heat All-Star LeBron James earned an NBA championship ring, he gave out a ring of his own. Just after midnight on New Year’s Eve, LeBron popped the question to his longtime girlfriend, Savannah Brinson. Dwyane Wade, LeBron’s friend and teammate, held the ring until the big moment. Watch as this 27-year-old MVP reveals how he steadied his nerves and prepared for the proposal.
