4. Honey + Cinnamon = Color
Honey and cinnamon are great for more than sore throats; these household items are great for lightening your hair.
Honey contains natural traces of hydrogen peroxide. To lighten your hair, mix 1 cup of raw honey with 1 tablespoon of cinnamon. Next add 1 1/2 cups of water and a substantial amount of your favorite conditioner (My favorite is Trader Joe’s Balancing Moisture Conditioner, $3).
Wash and condition your hair, then apply the mixture. Place a plastic cap over your hair and sit under the dryer for 30 minutes.
Bonus: Honey, cinnamon and lemon juice also make a great face mask for fighting blackheads.
