Reality TV Shows We’ll Take and the Ones They Can Cancel

“Basketball Wives”

It’s season 4, and all we’ve seen is Evelyn and Tami cuss every cast member out–upside down and sideways. Suzie’s irrelevant, Kenya and Kesha aren’t all that entertaining, Shaunie just observes, and Royce and Jen don’t add a whole lot without drama with Evelyn so there isn’t much else to see. If it comes down to watching 30 minutes of that every week, we’ll pass on that show too. As far as the LA cast, it was hard to get into those ladies to begin with, so we won’t miss a second season if there isn’t one.

“Love & Hip-Hop”

Without Chrissy and Emily B., this show just won’t be the same. When it comes to the Atlanta version of the show, no one knows who will star in it for sure, but we’re not too into any of the women rumored to appear so far. If Chrissy and Jim Jones’ spin-off gets the green light, and if by some miracle Fab and Em get their own show, we’ll gladly trade in Love & Hip-Hop to see these couples up close.

“Real Housewives of Atlanta”

Last season wasn’t that bad, but with two of the cast members already having their own spin-offs, it could be overkill seeing Kim and Kandi that much—plus we’re not sure we could take Marlo every week if she does end up replacing Sheree. This show really falls somewhere in limbo. We’ll definitely watch next season if there is one, but if there isn’t, we won’t cry.

“Braxton Family Values”

It’s a great show, Toni is making her exit. And with Tamar getting her own spin-off with Vince, there just isn’t much substance left after that. We definitely want to know what’s up with Trina and Towanda’s doomed marriages, but without all of the sisters there it just wouldn’t feel right.

“Queen of Strip”

We’re not sure how much truth there is to the rumor that VH1 is putting together a show on strippers at King of Diamonds in Miami, but just in case it is a thought, we want to go on record as saying we’d like the network to leave that idea where it currently resides—in their heads. This is a side of women we don’t need to see every week.
