Some people are absolutely obsessed with boobs, while others can not get enough of luscious, plump derrieres. In some cases, if you have boobs, you naturally lust for a bum. And if you have a fatty, you lust for some twins up top. Or maybe you are dying to have thick kissable lips, a button nose, or not so big ears.
Welcome to the never-ending cycle of body envy.
We live in a world where, for the right price, you can fix your not-so-loved body parts and be your mind’s version of perfection.
The list of things that you can cosmetically change about yourself are endless, yet deciding whether to go under the knife and become physically enhanced is not a choice that should be made lightly. In a world where you see both body enhancement magic and horrors, it is for sure not a decision that should be made overnight.
During an interview for Lifetime’s The Conversation With Amanda de Cadenet, actress Zoe Saldana said that she has considered getting a boob job. She mentions that if “an old man was having a midlife crisis and can buy a Porsche and date a 17-year-old, I can buy myself a pair and be the sexiest soccer mom you’ve ever seen.”
Although Saldana is a celebrity, she is not alone. Women, of every status, are constantly in talks of getting work done. But the real question is: Are the results worth it? Now I’m sure everyone has a body part they wouldn’t mind tweaking or totally demolishing (love handles and saddle bags, anyone?), but when it comes to plastic surgery, there are things to keep in mind. If you come to the conclusion that all the money spent and pain endured will make you a better you than by all means call that doctor.
