The wait is almost over.
Drake and Rihanna will finally be releasing the video for their second collaboration “Take Care” on Friday, April 6 at 7:56 p.m. ET on MTV.
The Gil Scott-Heron-sampled track incorporates aspects of nature into the visual as directed by Yoann Lemoine, who told MTV News in February, “When I listened to the track, I was seeing a landscape…involving animals and massive landscapes.”
Lemoine also wanted to capture the chemistry between the two artists. “They seemed to be super close and that’s what I wanted for the video,” he said.
While the Toronto rapper has been tight-lipped about the video’s details, Drake said he wanted to “make it perfect, like, the best video I’ve done to date, so just taking my time.”
For now, let this 15-second teaser hold your attention.
