Midday Chocolate Break: Drake Covers ‘GQ’ Style Bible

Posted by on Mar 14, 2012

Oh, how Drake polarizes the reactions of young girls and grown women!

With his latest arrival on the cover of GQ‘s April issue (its debut Style Bible), he softens up (yes, even more) to the publication, speaking about his father-son relationship with his pops and explaining that very sobering moment right after a climax. A dapper young fellow, despite those damn sweaters, Drake smiles within the glossy in quite sartorial fashion, donning Frank Sinatra-esque suits that are common with the quarterly.

No matter your feelings on Drizzy’s emo steez or his throne-topping ego, the young Canadian has a lot to say while showing off his million-dollar monster pad!

On the relationship with his father:
“Me and my dad are friends. We’re cool. I’ll never be disappointed again, because I don’t expect anything anymore from him. I just let him exist, and that’s how we get along. We laugh. We have drinks together. But I spent too many nights looking by the window, seeing if the car was going to pull up. And the car never came.”

On casual sex:
“There’s just a time where it was like, just getting pussy. Where I was in that sort of ‘I’m young, I’m going to disconnect from my emotions and just do what everyone else tells me I should do and just be a rapper and have my fun.’ And for me as a person, it just doesn’t work. I just need something else. The seconds after a man reaches climax, that’s like the realest moment of your life. If I don’t want you next to me in that fifteen, twenty seconds, then there’s something wrong.”
