"Maybe they never should have broken up in the first place?"

Being committed to another human being is difficult, and sometimes those difficulties (internal and external) break apart what was or had the potential to be a very healthy relationship. Both partners then take on the silly task of replacing the joys they no longer receive, and sometimes they find something of value and move on. Sometimes they find the dating scene is full of reformed hoes (male and female) looking for love. Then, of course, they take their findings to social media and tell the rest of us how brown the grass is on the other side. The realization of truth is rarely immediate, so of course they entertain the reformed hoes until they finally realize that maybe they never should have broken up in the first place.
