I could go on and on about this topic, but I'll just discuss the two examples at hand.

Rihanna pops off on a regular through her twitter account, so this is not a surprise to me. It is sad that with so many kids these days killing themselves because of constant bullying, that we have to witness someone in the spotlight doing exactly that to someone they don't know. Rihanna knew that when she made this song everyone was going to have an opinion, so she should just brush that shit off and let the people add their two cents. But I don't expect much more from Rihanna, I don't think she's a ROLE MODEL for young girls like people want her to be. She lacks couth to carry the fame she's been awarded but hey, she's got it!

I don't know what happened with Jill Scott and the Minaj Stans, but from the tweets it doesn't seem like she went too hard on anybody. Plus if she felt like she was being attacked then I'm sure she felt like she had the right to defend herself (especially if she was just expressing her opinion). But I don't think celebrities should feed into twitter beef, more than likely the ppl on the other end are just trying to get mentioned and be the hype, so why let them shine?

And that is all I have to say. Very good post, B!
