Love this Byron! And especially #6 and this line ---> "You always have a choice in who you dance or converse with, but responding with an attitude means that you probably should’ve stayed home. "but responding with an attitude means that you probably should’ve stayed home."

I hate to see chicks with a bad attitude for nothing. That's the quickest way to turn someone off! Have fun and treat people the way you wanna be treated. Guys included.

Awesome post in general...Well written and easy to follow. I definitely agree and disagree on a few items, though. On "Doing things alone" - no female (or male for that matter) wants to "look" like they are seeking a male's attention, so of course she is going to act like she is not interested and have fun with her group of girlfriends, praying the man walks up to her. Yes- its a game and yes both males and females play it well.

I also think that "Getting comfortable" as soon as possible is the way to go. If a man met me in my blonde 18 inch weave with fake eyelashes and pretty Louboutins, and I continue this charade for three dates, but show up to our 4th date in my regular short black hair and basic K-Mart flats, he is going to be pissed. Not only looks-wise, either. If I am super nice for a while, but then decide to be a jerk...my true self... he is going to blame me for wasting his time.

One more quick thing, know this is getting long...There is no way on earth I or any other women is lowering her standards on what she wants her guy to look like..nor should she have to. Women like different guys - and everyone will get play...so why settle when there are millions of men on the planet?

Very dope read though - right in time for the holiday!

Have fun ladies, courtship doesn't have to be such a grind. Feel free to suggest things that you'd like to do too. I agree with these points, so lighten up and enjoy the process.

I most definitely agree with these items and probably would add a couple more to the list. I think many single females time their interactions with males using their biological clocks, feeling they need to find quick ways to sift through men cause they don't have time to waste. Ladies should view conversing with men like a wine tasting, they should enjoy interacting with a varity of guys and take the time to allow each one to show his flavor. If he's not your brand that is okay, but at least you gave them the opportunity to wow you, with no preconceived notions or inhabitions. Almost all 7 ways some how or another boil down to a timing issue, so a paint brush piece of advice would be to count the experience gained rather than the time spent!
