i definitely think men “notice,” the little things, but it doesn’t necessarily bother them. if does bother them, i’d hope that you’re in a relationship with man who can be honest with you and say “baby your eyebrows look like the cookie monster today.” as long as you feel sexy and comfortable in your own skin though, you’ll always be okay.

I can def relate to this. Any reasonable man will appreciate a woman that takes pride in how she looks. But ladies have to realize that we dont really give a damn about their shoes lol. Of course we eat with our eyes first but shoes are are most likely the last things we see…if we even see them…As for hair, as long as its a style that fits her and her face/body type it will work…she doesnt need to change it with each episode of real housewives or the the kardashians…Her hair should accentuate her face.

I have to agree by in large. But just to be real, specifically…
1. Every man has a preference, but really, if it looks good on you rock it, and rock it with confident. Confidence trumps all! Nuff said.
2. Head wraps can be sexy. Black women have been pulling it off for years as fashion statements and looking good doing it. Your night time, oil stained scarf leaving spots on my pillow…is not. Never will be. However, we understand black hair, and we roll with it. Personally, I’d just ask that you that break it out only during sleep time though. We are in awe of your A+ presentation just as much as the people at your job who give you compliments all day, so why would you get home and the first thing you do is reach for the big ole sweatpants, t-shirt, and scarf and leave us with the D- presentation every day? We still think you’re beautiful and love you being comfortable while around us, but we’re still visual and always looking.
3. ALWAYS prefer the visual of heels, but have to respect the functionality of flats. Now get up and come dance with me! Oh…you’re feet feel fine, but you’re too tired…oh I understand…
4. “Focus on being in shape, being shaved and smelling good” = Couldn’t have said it better myself!. But if you are specifically trying to be sexy with it, put in that extra effort and get the set. Trust, we’ll notice!

Although some of these things are not necessary, they are appreciated. To know that a women pays attention to herself and cares about the details is sexy. Those things bring confidence and confidence is the sexiest thing Women can wear.

I agree with this! However, a lot of men have preferences as far as “long hair don’t care” moves and matching undergarments but I think as long as you do what you do with confidence, class, style, and flair, it definitely does not matter! Great article!

Truth be told we don’t care about your hair/weaves, heels, head wraps or whether or not your underwear match. What we do care about is that you are confident in your skin. Whether is short or long, yours or purchased, rock it with confidence. There is nothing sexier than a woman that demands and keeps your attention. Ladies your physical appearance might demand a brief glimpse but it will not hang on to his attention.

Nice observation, Byron. But the funny thing is…women don’t care about many of these things, either. lol You can kiss her and her headwrap’s arse if a fresh flatiron has taken place, and contrary to popular belief, women wear sky high heels to the club to impress other women, not men. The sexiness of the stance is for the man, but the literal shoe is for that planned FB profile pic, so her girls can later comment “Cute shoes!”

I totally dig a matching bra and panty set, though. Makes me feel sexy. In turn, helps you. However, it won’t be worn everyday unless La Perla starts giving ‘em away.

This article definitely hits home! I especially agree with #1 and #3. I used to be a stickler for a certain type of hairstyle, but now I’m pretty much open to any well-kept style that looks good on any particular woman. As for #3, I really wish more women would understand this one. Point blank – the woman that knows how to have fun while being effortlessly comfortable and sexy at the same time will always get more attention from me.
