What You Can and Cannot Hash Out Via Text Message

Living in the era of communication through text, you’re expected to have a few small arguments every now and then. On the other hand, there are strict boundaries of what needs text love and what deserves a face-to-face duke out. Choose your battles wisely, Vixens, and pick the best medium because text messaging isn’t always it! -Krystal Holmes and Niki McGloster

CAN: “What’s for dinner?”
You know the drill. Everyone has that moment when they are indecisive and can’t figure out what they want to eat. The person on the other end expects you to make a decision or at least have something in mind… You just don’t. This leads to bickering and a mini-argument until something can be decided upon. It’s okay to have via text because, hey, it’s only food. One way or another someone will make the executive decision on what to eat.

CANNOT: “Why am I with you?”
Anything remotely reminiscent of breaking up or deading a relationship should be argued outside of text messaging. It’s completely your choice whether you want to duke it out in-person or over the phone, but sending back-to-back text messages questioning your man’s worth in your life is a huge no-no!
