There were a lot of sexy ads this year but only one could be the sexiest. According to Advertising Age magazine, that one is Rihanna’s Aramani Jean and Underwear Campaign.
Donning a bleach blonde short do’ and a lacy bra and panty set, Rihanna poses seductively in the backseat of a 1950s car in one shot taken by photographer Steve Klein. In two other photos, Rihanna’s lace bra is visible under a leather jacket with an added pair of fitted jeans as she arches her back over the hood of the vintage black ride, seemingly in ecstasy. The black and white images, with light beaming in all the right places over Rihanna’s toned body, add to the ads’ mystique, making them worthy of the crown. Even fully clothed in a fourth photo, the singer’s take-charge pose oozes sexy.
Armani knew what it was doing when it tapped this sex symbol as its spokeswoman for its fall/winter 2011-12 campaign. All we can say to Rihanna is “you da one” girl. Congrats!
