No Evidence Supports Kardashian Sweatshop Scandal

Yesterday, the Internet was ablaze with reports that the most of the products bearing the Kardashian name were made in Chinese sweatshops by child laborers. It started with an article in Star magazine saying that “a number of factories connected to the Kardashians are being investigated by human-rights watchdog organizations.” The executive director of the Institute for Global Labour and Human Rights Charles Kernaghan states, “The Kardashians are in bed with some pretty bad people.”

The lines apparently being investigated are K-Dash by Kardashian, the Kris Jenner Kollection which is sold on QVC and ShoeDazzle, the shoe membership started by Kim Kardashian.

A rep for the Kardashians told RadarOnline,

“This is the first we are hearing about it and take it very seriously as we could never condone this. We are presently investigating the situation. ShoeDazzle was way more up front: the company owner, Robert Shapiro, the lawyer-turned-entrepreneur said that “his team has invested tons of time, energy and money to ensure the factories are operating in good standard.”

Now, Charles Kernaghan is claiming that he telling TMZ that he asked Star “to wait on the article,” because he wasn’t sure exactly which factories the Kardashian’s were producing their items in and that the gossip magazine took things out of context.

Too litle, too late, Charles! The Kardashians are already preparing to sue.

Vixens, do you care?
