Celebutante Skin

Celebs have all sorts of resources available to them to get flawless looking skin, and believe it or not, we have them as well. The definition of ideal skin can vary from person to person, but I think we can all agree that healthy looking skin is a priority to most. You can fake it even after you make it with a luxurious moisturizer and satiny sheer tinted foundation.

Giving your skin more attention during your daily regimen will surely help you obtain a quick healthy glow. Adding a rich hydrating moisturizer prevents dull and dry looking skin caused by cold weather. Dedicate a few more minutes in the AM applying something moisture rich face creme like MAC Complete Comfort Creme using a flat foundation brush. Stippling (a slow patting motion) your moisturizer on instead of slathering it on is equivalent to giving your skin a smoothie. This technique makes the skin appear more plump and supple and it helps conserve more product.

If you have oily/combination skin, no worries! Simply target those troublesome areas with a mattifying primer using your trusty flat foundation brush. That way you can look radiant in the appropriate areas on the face – no shiny nostrils! L’Oreal Studio Secrets Anti-Shine Mattifying Primer is one of the many fantastic options available.

Since the objective is to achieve that fresh from the spa finish on the skin using makeup, the foundation should be more lightweight in appearance. Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer SPF 20 (oil free formula also available) is an excellent choice for an effective barely there makeup. Stippling your tinted moisturizer into the skin using a<strong> Beauty Blender Sponge maintains the hydrated finish on the skin. Using the same sponge to apply a little concealer can camouflage any hyper pigmentation or redness that may peak through your foundation.

Finish off your celebrity skin with some translucent loose powder. This extends the wearability of your makeup and controls oil. NARS Loose Powder has a nice finish without dulling the radiance of the skin. Remember to tap the excess off of your powder brush before applying to avoid the extra matte look.
