My complaint is not about the condition of her hair. It's the fact that these videos are just dumb as hell. Like you said, throwing a headband on and calling it "fancy". There's another young lady on there, with a blonde weave who did a video about how to get "silly hair". She teased it, threw two headbands on it and called it a "tutorial". The quality of these videos is SERIOUSLY lacking. I can't believe Tyra didn't have better quality control measures in place to ensure that junk like this isn't posted on her channel. In my opinion, these videos are just plain LAZINESS! This silly chick actually did a video about how to determine if your hair is straight or wavy (http://youtu.be/dj1UBcnlVdo) saying that her hair "wets when water touches it". In another video, Ms. Robertson talks about how to put dots on your face to look like freckles. How to put on a headband. How to comb the top of your hair. It's just ridiculous.
