3. While you’re at it, pile on the UV protection
The sun’s not shining as brightly as it was, so of course there’s no need for sunblock, right? Wrong! As a matter of fact, the sun can be even more of a threat to our skin simply because of the way it glares off of snow and ice (not to mention the fact that our skin is already parched due to the dry, frigid climate). Combat such skin transgression by moisturizing yours with a daily SPF moisturizer and your epidermis will thank you in the long run.
4. Continue drinking lots of water
It’s not just a tip for the warmer temperatures, ladies. Dehydration is even more of a factor during the winter months since we don’t have the harsh heat beaming down on us to remind us that we’re thirsty. Keep up with your 8-glass-a-day routine even if you think you don’t need to. The result will be hydrated skin, a flawlessly functioning system, and more energy to get up, get out and do something.
