You talk about how Lil' Wayne has disgusting lyrics towards women and when he tries to put something out there that could possibly have a positive impact it's criticized. Sadly he may be able to make more of an impact on young women by putting out this song than say Beyonce because some young girls are so starved for a male influence in their lives they will only hear the voice of a man. So if they are going to listen to Lil' Wayne I hope they hear that song. It is better that he did it than not. Beyonce's anthems from her DC days like "Survivor" to her more recent "Who Run The World" are all great messages that many women including my mom love. The difference is the VISUAL the images and the storyline are far deeper than anything Beyonce has put out as of yet. The two can't be compared at all. This video affected me almost to the point of tears that has NEVER happened watching a Beyonce VIDEO or the majority of ratchet videos that are out now. This is what Art is supposed to do.IMO.
