this is interesting and I would definitely advise it to those that can handle it. I personally tried this route yrs ago bc i saw my girlfriend doing it like a pro, it wasnt for me
I think the term “dating” is not what it use to be in prior generations when there was courting and taking interest in the other mate. this new millineum dating gets scewed after the week of courting and then sex is involved. men can “date” and have sex bc its just a sport to them (in my opinion #dontjudge) but i find it much harder for women bc women can’t have platonic sex w/out the emotional attachment.
But like the article said “be honest with the men you’re dating, and yourself. If dating multiple men is not your thing, you can stop at any time” #IJS

I agree that if you are dating multiple men, you should be honest about it. There is no harm in doing so. All you are doing is getting to know that person. One of the biggest mistakes females make is letting other people’s perception of them get to them. When you are honest with yourself, that is all that matters.

Great article!! You made some really good and valid points we as women should take into consideration when entering the dating scene. I agree, I don’t know what the hesitation about women dating multiple men is, when guys do it all the time. It just goes back to the double-standard created by society and it’s a shame that it has to be that way. Women and men should approach the dating the scene however they see fit, no matter society’s approval of it or not.

This is a concept all too unfamiliar to some in the community. Most men do not date unless some kind of mutual benefit is involved. And by no means is this a generalization, but mere opinion based off of the experience I have had. And in my tender 23 years of life, men my age rarely do the date. I definitely agree with your article and look forward to hitting the dating scene myself! Excellent job

I think the most important point made in this piece was how we allow ourselves to be defined by the perception of others. The interesting thing about double standards is that once the slighted party conforms to the double standard (ie it is bad/wrong for a woman to date more than one man at a time, but it is perfectly acceptable and even expected for a man to date multiples), they have to be the first to not only recognize the bias, but negate the bias by no longer abiding by it.

So ladies, if you see something you like, go for it. We out number men by too much not to at least try to improve our odds.

This is interesting. I have fought with myself on this issue several times. But it’s all in the law of the numbers. By dating, my conversion rate of having a meaningful relationship is sure to transpire. It is very important that women understand the significance of dating, and DO NOT confuse it with sex. I was once taught the BIGGEST difference between men and women when it comes to love and dating.

Many women use sex to get love from men, whereas many men show love to get sex from women.

Please don’t let this difference and stigma be the division of your dating relationship.
