One-third of super girl group, Destiny’s Child, Michelle Williams has been recently spotted making countless reunions with her forner bandmates at various events.
However, the singer/actress, still is content with riding solo. In a sit-down with The Celebrity Cafe, Michelle talks about her continuing acting career as well as the work on her 4th studio album. She is not yet clear on an official release date, but promises it will focus on uplifting ideals.
“I am working on it now and doing the recordings for it. There are so many artists coming out on that label, so I’m not exactly sure when it’s going to come out, but we’re expecting to have the official news about the album coming out soon,” she said.
“The sound and themes that I’m going for are inspiration and some hope that still makes people dance and think positive of situations in the world. It seems that everything going on now is so heartbreaking. I just want to remind people that we still have lives to live and purpose to fulfill,” Williams comments about the aim of her new project.
Recently, the 31-year-old released an new single out entilted ”Love Gun” and is excited to continue touring in a play she currently is starring in:
“I was touring in a play, What My Husband Doesn’t Know, earlier this year, so we’re going to pick that back up and be on the road for seven more weeks. I also plan to do a lot more acting and more music.”
