Beyonce is a great entertainer, performer and singer and she is undeniably beautiful however she will NEVER embody the same iconic effect as Madonna and Michael Jackson. We are talking about two totally different time periods and so much has changed o the point where there is almost NO new “legendary” entertainers that are out right now. There are many that are extremely notable and talented but none are completely timeless.

I am definitely a huge Bey fan but I wasn’t always this die hard for her until her 2nd album. She is an overall great performer/entertainer….looking at the music industry today there is NOBODY doing what she is doing. I personally do think 4 is her greatest album…there are still songs for everyone to relate to whether you are in love or you aren’t. People expect for her to just stay the same and continue to do tracks like “Crazy In Love” or “Single Ladies” but artists must evolve as well. They don’t want to keep cranking out the same stuff they have already done. And when you are Beyonce and have all this success at such a young age you want to take on new risks. I do not think her appeal is lost especially with the sell out of her performances at Roseland Ballroom. People are still crazy about her.

Beyonce is just maturing into a grown woman. Her music is changing and she’s become less of a “pop star” and more of an Icon. Her name will reign with Michael, Janet, Madonna. She works as hard as they did, is as self-directed as they were and her impact on music is just as big. For example, she made leotards and stilettos a requirement for female artists who came out after she went solo. There is no solo artist who does what she does. All she needs is an empty stage and a mic to captivate and entertain an audience. NO other solo female POP artist can do that. Signed, Beyonce Stan…obviously. lol

I have been and will be a Beyonce fan. I am, however, underwhelmed with the 1+1 video. Its beautifully shot and of course she looks gorgeous but I suppose I was hoping for something different =/

So true!
She is beginning to appear to be trying too hard; sexiness should be natural and she has looked to be forcing it for a while.
The ad for her perfume, Heat, is just so ridiculously over the top it has us howling with laughter though I’m sure the hilarity was unintentional.
She is talented, but her songs about girl power ring false when she has allowed herself to be molded and packaged to appeal to males.
he seems to be a genuinely nice woman, someone just needs to tell her to find a more interesting way to engage her fans; the sex, girl power and OTT glamour has become ever so tedious…yawn.
