We are more self-conscious and judgemental of ourselves than our partners are of us. Like you said, he can feel you in the dark, he can see you with your clothes on and know what he's working with, so there's no need to hide. We just have to get to that place in our minds where we're comfortable with ourselves. Stand in the mirror and stare until you stop cringing is my motto.

Lights off is a preference, but if he wants the lights on, I won't object. I accept what I'm working with and I know even the skinniest of women have their own issues and stretch marks.
