In todays system it really doesn’t matter if a father is in the childs life or not it’s sad to say that now the government says you are a good father as long and as you pay and have no involvement in the childs upbringing so saying money is more important than having a father and most of these famous stars probley didn’t educate themselves about todays system where the women will get all the benefits at the end of a so-called divorce i hear will smith had to pay his ex like 18,000 a month in spousal support to be honest thats not a divorce

You can be a good father by sticking to one chick and getting married, therefore starting off being a good example to your child. But i can’t give the man all the DISS-credit. 90%+ of these females walk waist deep into doo doo and they both deserve the outcome. I Only feel sorry for the children.

I think the court system juices, everyone that does pay support, I pay out like $1,000 in support, while the unemployed ppl pay $3.00 a month. Where is the justice in this here ? Sometimes after trying to make ends meet with bills and another new bill ( gas prices) it’s hard to manage at times, & when your kids want & need something when you are in their lives what do you tell them ? Daddy not have any money left to even take you to McDonald’s I think the system sound look deep into thus matter, don’t give the baby mommas all he loot, ( hair & nails ) done every week withbthe cash, He still wants to provide for his kids too as well withsome moolah in his pockets, everything is so expensive this day & time. P.sS. I’m not saying don’t take care of your shorties, but just be fair about It.

There is constant scrutiny of women celebrities who have children out of wedlock, or have more than one “baby-daddy,” yet that same scrutiny is not applied to the men who they’re laying with, the men who are or are not paying child support, and which child they are or are not raising. If the women are to be talked about and criticized for maintaining “abnormal” families than the men should be dogged just as hard for allowing such “abnormal” families to happen.

This is not about men not “putting a ring on it,” this is not about women not protecting themselves, this is not about women trapping men, or men being reckless, this isn’t even about money. This is about people being parents. A woman would lose all worldly self-respect if she was found out to be trifling and dead beat; see Casey Anthony. Yet when those same descriptors are applied to men it just becomes apart of their character neither negative, or positive, nor is it always a future relationship deal breaker. It just is what it is.

But what isn’t is a predictable future for the child. If the Federal government has found the time to send out alerts that 18 million children are owed child support and create PSA’s to encourage men to be father’s than it is clear the real issue is of fatherhood and that child support is just a necessary hurdle to put some men on the path toward taking responsibility. At the core it is an issue of fatherhood and motherhood an nothing else.

What about the men who do care for their children and child support is still thrown at you based on the deceitful comments made during the hearing. Nobody ever hears that side of the story. or the mother that gets child support in excess along with a schedule and doesnt keep her as much as she is supposed to. Women often do this for money and keep their children away from their fathers based on a personal vendetta they have against their child’s father. I would like to see some backpay for the paying nurturing and example fathers of this country. When do we get a Good Job..? from your daughters mother who doesnt care enough to care when nobody is paying attention..? Should men have top pay for good career decisions or should their be a standard amount for caring for a child…? Every sityuation doesnt deserve the same treatment!

Also children or your seed shouldnt have to live LESS than the way the father is living. You are rich because you come from a rich family. The child shouldnt be poor while they are on yachts sippin Crystal or whatever overpriced crap they sip these days.

I think if he has the money, then he needs to provide (meaning either the full amount they say he has to pay or IS A MAN AND AGREES to an amount and keeps his promises). If he has no money, but his kids know they can count on him for nearly anything NOT financially related, then YES. That means putting in time, planning an active role and being serious about your child’s education, homelife (even if you don’t live there), making sure they have food, adequate clothing, etc. (if you have the finances to provide and it aint all gotta be Polo).

A single mother wouldn’t get away with not providing both finances and being an active participate in her children’s lives. SHE WOULD BE IN TROUBLE WITH CHILDREN SERVICES AND PLASTERED ALL OVER THE NEWS FOR CHILD NEGLECT. That is exactly what a father does when he is not willing to provide for and protect his children. There is no exception to the rule. I think the one’s that don’t are too busy feeling like a woman is going to get away with the crumbs they dish out while she has to cook meals, schedule doctors appointments, take the kids to school, you name it, while she is the one left holding the bag and the embarrassment. It is a shame that the government and law has to make a man be a man and responsible father to his own children. But if you made your bed the woman shouldn’t have to be the only one to lay in it. And the children shouldn’t have to suffer and go without because you ain’t feeling being a baby daddy. If that is the case you should of kept your mouth shut and you pants zipped “pimpin’”. Shout out to all the men who take care of their children.
