Smh at articles like this throwing shade at Kelly but not really throwing shade. Instead of letting her shine her name always has to be mentioned with Beyonce’s. The only reason Beyonce is as big as she is, is because her father promoted her more. She has a machine behind her. It doesn’t matter that Kelly got the same opportunities as Beyonce, because if you really think about it she didn’t. She had to go all the way overseas to be accepted as an artist and how ironic is it that as soon as she drops Matthew Knowles as her manager she gets a chart topping number one single? Kelly doesn’t need any pointers. She got this!

I like what I’ve heard so far, I’m so over “Butt Pads” Kelly can do way better…promotion is key tho!!

Haven’t we given Kelly this speech before? I believe before the debut of “Miss Kelly” we (the fans) did more promoting for her than her label did. I wish her nothing but the best, and honestly, I don’t see why she seems to fade into the background with every album. Oh, yes I do, she hasn’t found her lane yet. She’s trying to be all over the place and dominate more than one genre at a time. With as much experience under her belt and not to mention the success of her younger sister, King B, as a “guide” of what NOT to do, I don’t see why we should have to prep her for every album.

I’ll see you in stores later this month Kellz.

I really love the last line of this article, Drew! Kelly is a true talent and should not be constantly compared with Beyonce. Kelly and Beyonce are really different talents. People have created this artificial comparison (and competition) between Beyonce when Kelly is not even close to being in the league with Beyonce, which is no offense to Kelly because most artists are not. I wish Kelly much success with her album. Good piece, Drew!

i heard the snippets of the kelly rowland album. OMG!! this album is going to be the business. i hope her album goes to number 1. if the promotion is on point, i wouldnt be surprised if her album debuts at number 1 with at least 200,000 sold. i can only hope. “motivation” was the best thing that happened to kelly rowland. i love that song!! GOOD LUCK MS. KELLY!! i disagree with dating a producer or music mogul. that wont work. lol.
