As Rocawear re-imagines its brand, the popular collection has launched its “That’s Rocawear” campaign and this installment features beatboxing phenom and unique producer Taylor McFerrin. Son of vocalist Bobby McFerrin, he has created a worldwide presence since his heavily-rotated EP Broken Vibes. His major buzz has solidified his spot, opening for such artists as Erykah Badu, the Roots, Nas, Talib Kweli and J*Davey.
While he feels at home in a space between legendary 60′s and 70′s soul and modern beat-making, he takes the time to chop up Jay-Z’s “Can’t Knock The Hustle” for the 3-minute clip. Viewers beware. Watching the globe trotter maniuplate the instrumentation will have you stunned for a few… and nodding your head, of course.
