Daddy Knowles Wants To Settle Allegations Of Theft In Court

Even with Beyoncé’s new album 4 landing number one on the charts, allegations still continue about her abrupt management switch. Since the beginning of her career, Beyoncé has been managed by her svengali father Mathew Knowles. Earlier in the year, Beyoncé announced she was firing her dad; as this came as a shock to many.

With the scandal of infidelity and divorce, the Knowles family has not had much positive publicity other than Beyoncé landing in the top of the charts and constant festival bookings.

Recently, Beyoncé took notice of the loss of money and had an audit conducted, which came to the conclusion Mathew was stealing money from her, causing Beyoncé to fire him. In a recent interview with the Associated Press, Mathew Knowles denies the allegations about him laundering money from his daughter, Thursday.

Mathew Knowles explained:

“We absolutely have not taken any money from Beyoncé, and all dollars will be accounted for,” Knowles said. “In no way have we stole money. Again, this about the people who have made these claims — they have to come into the light.”

“The relationship with Beyoncé is extremely amicable. I want to make that clear. Where there’s concern is the people that she’s doing business with,” he said. “I’m challenging all of these folks on integrity, professional integrity.”

Knowles said he does not believe the allegations that he stole money from her are the reason why he was fired, and said his daughter completely cleaned house. “She changed almost every aspect of her business. The team ironically appeared to be a cross-pollination of Beyoncé’s team, Roc Nation’s team, and Live Nation’s team, who ironically have the most to gain,” he said.”

Even though the Beyoncé clan has yet to release any comments regarding this situation, Mathew Knowles still speaks positively of his daughter. He also has acknowledged that the two have not spoken since she let him go in March.
